Based on the learning skills outlined in the Ontario curriculum, this group offers opportunity to develop executive function skills:

Through play-based activities and engaging conversations, members in the group learn to communicate, collaborate and encourage each other in the development of these foundational skills, paving the path to greater academic and social success.

Rock Band (ages 8-13)
Thursday, April 18 to Thursday, June 6, 2024
5:30 - 7 pm
Rock Band offer opportunity to develop skills on a musical instrument in a small group setting. Through a combination of individual and group practice, young rockers will learn to collaborate, listen and express themselves. Etiquette, theory and regulation skills will be a focus throughout this fun and engaging time.
Student must provide their own instrument (except drums) and home practice is expected.

Teen Rock Band

5 days of Music, Visual Art, Dance, Drama, Outdoor Activities, & Games!

Early Life, Coaching: Ages 4-6 Social Skills, Emotional Regulation & Awareness through the ARTS!
Using music and creative expression, young children will learn about their emotions and how to recognize and manage them within their families and social settings (e.g school, after-school activities). Social skills will be emphasized through the group process, and taught through collaborative music making, games and stories.
